MATERIALS

Precision in results, stability, and excellent optical characteristics: these are the parameters we use to select the materials for manufacturing our contact lenses.

We rely on the quality of Boston materials for all our best contact lenses, choosing the most suitable material (Boston ES, EO, XO, Gold, Onsi-56) based on the physiological needs of the wearer to ensure consistent effectiveness over time.

The use of micrometric calibration lathes and individual quality control for each lens produced guarantees unrivaled quality in the market.

PRODUCTS

PROCESSING

Our laboratories offer the possibility of applying additional treatments for better fitting and unmatched comfort.

In all cases where there is a need to proceed with trial contact lenses before the final lens, we have developed the IDEA formula.

HOLD

A profile applied to the periphery of the outer surface of the lens (outside the optical zone) to ensure eyelid-lens retention when the lens tends to move downwards. Available in combination with the Nepos treatment.

NEPOS

In cases where the lens weight is excessive due to high levels of optical compensation for refractive errors, it is possible to reduce the peripheral thickness of the lens to lighten it. Available in combination with the Hold treatment.

PLASMA

A treatment that improves the lens's wettability, ensuring optimal sliding for greater wearer comfort. The treatment can be applied in an intensive version.

TORIC FLANGE

An additional treatment to provide toricity to the flange of spherical contact lenses.

PRISMATIC

Decentration of the outer surface downward to create a thickness that either adds weight to the lens or stabilizes rotation in the presence of an external torus.

EXTERNAL TORUS (Thorus Ex)

Application of an external cylinder on a spherical surface, always associated with a balancing prism.

ViP

Allows multifocality to be applied to the surface of the lens type already in use and can be combined with all contact lenses produced by Horus, regardless of the geometry.

EDGE VAULT (only for Minisclerals)

Customization of the support profile, allowing the lens to be applied even in the presence of a pinguecula. It is possible to overcome two pingueculae on the same lens.

QUADRANT SPECIFIC (only for Minisclerals)

Ability to manage support in four independent quadrants to accommodate any irregularity in the sclera.

DOT

Addition of a dot on the lens to facilitate the correct identification of the right or left lens when the contact lenses are the same color.
