COURSE ON THE CORRELATION BETWEEN VISION AND DYSLEXIA

Date: 22/09/2024
Hours: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Dedicated to professional figures (ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, psychologists, speech therapists, etc.) involved in the interdisciplinary evaluation of the causes of Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), particularly in Dyslexia, the course offers a protocol that examines the visual foundations that may contribute to the development of this disorder. The Tetra project, developed by Dr. Carlo Aleci, uses a platform that allows for the analysis of visual stimuli through specific tests validated by the University of Turin. These tests are part of the dyslexia evaluation battery, enabling their use by pediatric neuropsychiatrists in the diagnosis of dyslexia and the related rehabilitative strategy through the Trigram module in the Tetra platform.
